Love is a verb
It ain’t a thing
It’s not something you own
It’s not something you scream
When you show me love
I don’t need your words
Yeah love ain’t a thing
Love is a verb
Love ain’t a thing
Love is a verb
Love ain’t a crutch
It ain’t an excuse
No you can’t get through love
On just a pile of IOUS
Love ain’t a drug
Despite what you’ve heard
Yeah love ain’t a thing
Love is a verb
Love ain’t a thing
Love is a verb
So you gotta show, show, show me
Show, show, show me
Show, show, show me
That love is a verb
Yeah you gotta show, show, show me
Show, show, show me
Show, show, show me
That love is a verb
Love ain’t a thing
Love is a verb

It’s beautiful :3Bob Reynolds played a show last night at The Blue Whale in LA that he live streamed. (If you didn’t see it, we can still be friends, but we’re going to have to talk.)
Already backed by a great group of musicians, he surprised the audience (well, the people who didn’t read about it on twitter anyway) when David Ryan Harris joined him onstage for a duet of the Radiohead song Subterranean Homesick Alien.
The entire show was fantastic, but since I know jazz standards are an acquired taste, I thought you might enjoy a more “modern” tune.

Got a cool tone going tonight… Super touch responsive. (No looper involved.)
